* For backward compatibility, still try to move to PETSC_DIR, but don't
write it into the path given to emacsclient. For best results, pass
absolute paths of source files to the compiler so that __FILE__ is an
absolute path.
* Pass --no-wait so that the error message and trace is printed to the
terminal immediately instead of only after emacsclient has exited.
